In March, Daman proudly became one of over 160 Safe Place sites in St. Joseph County. “Seeing that Safe Place sign is an important message to kids that people care,” says owner Larry Davis. “Daman is committed to being available to youth in a variety of ways,” he continued. “YSB does an outstanding job connecting with kids who need help, and this one small way Daman can assist.”
Safe Place is a network of businesses, fast food restaurants, fire stations, busses, and other public places that provide teens between the ages of 12-18 who find themselves in crisis or need a place to stay, immediate access to help.
